  • Export from FCP to Windows Media

If I choose an “export” option out of FCP to Windows Media, the file is short and refuses to export at the in and out points of the timeline. Any idea why this is? Is this like a demo option, which refuses to export a large file with a full timeline, or have I just hit a bug?

Do you have Flip4mac installed? Their trial version only allows a short compression length.

The free version only allows a 20-second export.

So it sounds like the only reason I have “Windows Media” listed as an option is because of Flip Mac? I do have it installed, just a free version, as I’ve never paid for it.
