I need to provide DVD and Bluray discs to client of a 85 minute HD video edited in Avid Media Composer on a PC in 25f.
When still working in Vegas I had workflow render as mpg DVD architect (Mark’s bitrate calculator), create ISO file in imgburn and out!
This is my first film edited in Avid and I find my DVD quality is no good (image is soft, subtitles not sharp). I have been exporting various QT mov files, then creating the VOB in DVD architect, creating ISO file in img burn, but not satisfied with the quality.
Similar workflow from Vegas Pro has provided good results in several similar length films.
Thank you for any pointers. I understand this technology is now more or less obsolete, but many clients still require it, so I need to find a way to do this.
