Export Frame Bug?
Premiere Pro 14.4.0 (CC 2020) on a Mac Pro 16-Core.
Weird bug with the Export Frame option.
Intermittently the frame exports with a width scale (black bars on each side) issue.
It’s hit and miss and at times annoying when you forget about the bug.
Anyone experience this?
I can’t even do the math as far as percentage width scale, something like 102.xxxxx 😛

Going to resurrect this one.
Very annoying and wondering if anyone else has issues with this.
I am sure that it has something to do with the use of Proxies.
The results are similar to how the frame scales (width) when the proxy is toggled.
So much time wasted using this option.

Export frame means exporting the frame you are seeing in the PM.
If that is a proxy file with black bars then yes you will have black bars

As I stated earlier, the annoying bug results in an Exported Image with the black bars on each side. However, I always export with the Original footage toggled on but still get that bug (intermittently). I have proved it by exporting the same frame numerous times and always its never the same. Sometimes I have to restart the app to get rid of it altogether.
The issue does come back which is the annoying part. -
I thought I never ever going to use this option again.
I can’t seem to find this issue anywhere in and Adobe Forum.
No one has ever run into this issue?
I think it only occurs when you work with proxy files.
Again, I switch to original mode before I attempt to use the Export Frame option.
My only workaround now is to scale the images by 102.5% wide.
So annoying.
