Export for DVDSP4
I’m trying to export files from FCE to use in DVDSP4. The files are hugh and DVDSP4 keeps kicking up errors. So I tried exporting the largest QT (32GB) file instead using Compressor and as an mpeg2. It completed 18 or so hours later, but without sound. What do I need to do to get sound?

Ok. With help from the DVDSP group I found that I need to create a ac3 file, which I found by using Dolby settings. The file created and I imported it into DVDSP. I played the file and had complete silence.

Silly question, but I’ve got to ask…
Did you load the audio track INTO the track in DVDSP that has the video?

Yeah. I ended up moving the project back to my iMac G5 (now that it’s had it’s second motherboard replacement). The exported 32 GB QT file was used and DVDSP had no problem. Everything is burning just fine now.
