Activity Forums Media 100 export for after effects

I use to be able to export a media 100 timeline to after effect.
When I exported out of after effects it would create and xml file that I could open up in after effects 6.5
I’ve upgraded to after effects 7 and now when I try to import the xml file into after effects, it’s “grey’d out”
The workaround is to open the xml file with after effects 6.5, save the after effects project…then open it up with after effects 7
It works but it’s a pain.
    Any suggestions?

You need to place the “Media 100 XML Project Importer” in YourAE7Folder->PlugIns->Standard->Format. Then AE7 will take the XML files.

You also need to be at 8.2.3a, as that version M100 updated the exporter to be XML, it wasn’t XML in 8.2.2
