Export FCP footage to DNxHD using Compressor?
Hello guys,
I have been asked to provide some footage to a company that uses Avid. I’m on FCP 7.0.3.
There is this DNxHD codec package, that I belive can be used in Compressor to convert/upscale my DV50 footage to DNxHD. I have installed the codec package, but I can’t find any DNxHD in Compressor (3.5.3)?
What is the best way exporting from FCP to DNxHD?

You’ll need to customize a setting. Choose a ProRes setting that closely matches, then change the Video setting to the DNxHD codec.
