Try exporting using a different filename. I’ve seen this a few times, and that seems to solve it.

I Shot a wedding video and did the editing on it. I have fully rendered it. I had trouble exporting to DVD be at the time by DVD failed. I had to get a new one. In the meantime I exported thru adobe encoder to WMV. the quality was awful. So when I finally installed the new DVD drive I thought I would again try to burn it to DVD. it wouldnt it kept giving me the ” i dont have permission to create or delete the output” So I tried creating a new administator acct because thats what one of the creative cow people told me to try..that didnt work. I checked my Scratch disks and they are all set to ” same as project” didnt know if that was right or wrong or what to set it to. I they tried to save the project with a different name but that didnt work either..I’m very fustrated..nobody can seem to give me the help I need. any ideas? Im all ears…gb

Are you going directly into Encore from Premiere?

Have you tried rendering the AVI file and saving it, then importing it into Encore as an asset, and dragging it to become a timeline?

You really have not told me that much about your workflow, so I’m guessing at things here…
