Is there a way to export an editable project out of Final Cut Pro? I’ve got a 2 minute trailer that I need to send to another system to get colored. I’m wondering if there is a way to send just the video with handles, kind of like an OMF. That way the editor will have the edit and just the footage he needs. Is this possible?

You really should check with them how they want it. You could use the media manager to make a Final Cut sequence with handles. You could export it as a self contained quicktime and notch it yourself. They might just want an edl and reconstitute the project from the tape masters. It really depends on what system they’re using, and their preferred workflow.
