    Hi All,

I’m trying to do something simple and I can’t find an anwser after a bunch of Googling. I am trying to export a quicktime directly from the timeline(File → Export) with motion blur. Exporting an Animation file through the Render Queue and them encoding an x264 takes WAY too much time.

Motion blur is ticked on the layers and it still doesn’t spit out a movie with motion blur. I tried pre-rendering without success. I’m at a loss here. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.

Sorry about the time it takes to Render, but that’s your computer’s fault, not AE’s.
Forget about the Export option, it’s not the way to produce a movie file.
You have Motion Blur ticked for the layers, but is it enabled for the composition?
And don’t use AE for encoding to x264. Take your full quality rendered file into a separate encoding app like Adobe Media Encoder for that.
