Export clips with poster frame following…
Hi guys, wondering if you could help me on this.
We want to improve our workflows with CATDV and here’s what we want…
We want to export our clips from our catalogs with the poster frame (set in catdv) following the clip.
In other words, in MAC Finder, we want the thumbnails to be the same that our poster frame we setup in CATDV.
Is it possible? Because so far, our exported clips has default thumbnails/poster frame in Finder.

I’m not sure how well QT supports this. Running Mavericks I cant even get the poster frame to update in the Finder using QT Pro.
Just my observation. What OS are you running and how do you currently do this at your place?

We use Mountain lion.
When we set it with QT pro, we can see it with Mac finder.
We noticed that our poster frame (set in catdv) does become the thumbnail when we put the clip in a web browser (we tried with Outlook One drive and we accessed it via safari… It’s the right poster frame).
That would make you think it’s something about how MAC OS is working. We can test it on Windows but my guess would be that it works fine in any Windows OS?
