  • export cc snow as alpha? for use in flash

Posted by Arnljot Bringedal on July 22, 2007 at 5:40 pm

    Problem:

Client wants the cc snow effect as a alpha video clip to lay over different graphics in flash.

How do I go about exporting cc snow as alpha?

And does anyone know how to encode the clip for use in flash?
    (Alpha only?)

    Thanks guys!

I’d use the layer with CC snow applied as a luma matte over a white solid, then render that comp in whatever format (RGB+Alpha) Flash can accept. So *that* would now be a Flash forum question: which formats with alpha can Flash accept?

Get Unmult from here, it’s free. Should get rid of the background and let you export as alpha.
