I don’t know if I’m using the correct terms. But I have a 4:3 clip with borders. I need to get rid off the borders. So I was thinking I could crop them off and then export it so I have 16:9 clip.

But how do I do this? I know how to crop, but what do i do with sequence etc to get the correct export??

Export a reference movie as is. Take the reference movie into Compressor and crop it in the Geometry Pane. The quality is better than FCP’s resizing.
