Is there a way (as an example) to export 10 frames then skip 10 frames and so on? In other words compress a long time frame into a small, sped up movie? I did this years ago in After Effects or a third party application where I could select a number of frames and then select how many frames to skip (worked great, can’t remember what it was called) but was wondering if FCP got around to adding such a feature, but can’t find anything. Anyone know of a way to do it in FCP or another application? Thanks for your help.

    (why?)
I used this method to “log” my 200+ hours of DV tapes years ago into a couple short 20 minute video. Worked great as a visual reference, and a great looping clip of everything I’ve shot. Kind of a Koyaanisqtsi video log.
