    Be more specific. What kind of explosion? Fire is generally fractally in AE.

    Actualy i’m doing a little movie and i have guys shooting lasers and i want impact explosion let say he shoots on concret i want a little ball of fire. i dont realy need concret to fly around. is that possible with AE?

    Yup. I’d try animating some masks with some fractal noise, and add some distortion. Don’t forget about a heat warp!

    To drive the point home: In general, don’t try to simulate something with CGI when you can just shoot the real thing—or, even better, when someone else has shot the real thing and is providing you the footage for free (or cheap).
