    ok
so I am trying to figure the best way to convert a m100 SD, pro res, program to HD for delivery.
I have a kona lhi with no hd vtr. I do have a betasp and a dsr 45a dvcam deck. However, I could rent one.
I have considered using the conform program command but I cannot find proper explanations of what it does specifically.
I understand everything except the “make re-acquireable media offline(to re-acquire later)

If I uncheck this box, does it do a software conform to HD?
If I check I guess I would have to re-digitize the whole program?
The program is near 2 hours and is very complex with overlays, cuts, titles and transitions.

Any and all help is appreciated.

    Yes.

    Yes.

Sounds like fun. But seriously, why do you wan to deliver in HD? If your source is SD, you will not gain anything. If your source is HD, you should reacquire in HD to get better quality.
How do you want to deliver? On HD tape? XDCam HD disc? If you have to deliver on tape, you could use the hardware upscaler of the LHi to play out your SD timeline to a HD deck directly via HDSDI.
