    Hi,

I need to expand a Workgroup Videohub and I would like to know if it is possible to cascade my current one to another one. If not, what is the best way to configure more than one Videohub ?

    Appreciate any advise.

    Thanks,

While I don’t have an answer for you, I would like to know how happy you are with your videohub. I’m thinking about getting one in the next couple of months. Have you had any problems? My plan is to have at least 2, possibly 4 or 5 workstations, as well as two decks all connected. Does the videohub seem like a logical solution for a setup like this?

    thanks,

    Bryan

    Hi Bryan,

If that’s all you are going to connect, the Workgroup Videohub will fit your requirement very well. But remember that the I/O is purely SDI (SD/HD) so if you have any analog sources you will need an AD/DA like the Multibridge Pro.

    Hi Chrispy,

Come and visit me in my office and I’ll show you how we work with 4 x Video hubs.

    All the best, Peter

I’m also very interested in seeing how to set up an infrastructure using several Videohubs, but I don’t think I can make it to Singapore this week 🙂 Any chance of having a look at some documentation of how you’ve implemented that? Even a scetch on a napkin will do.

    cheers,

    Geir.

I’d like some info as well… I’d need two or more hub working together. What happens with the RS422 control? Can you run 2 controller utility?
