    Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to replicate the “expanding square” effect in this video at 5:30
    https://vimeo.com/40665264

I was hoping there is a better way to do it than just by hand.

    Thanks,
    Alex

This entire piece was made using Newton 2. I’m sure there was a setting in there that lets you change scale in relation to a subjects position. I don’t have the plugin but that is why I would start.

Are their any work arounds besides doing the segment by hand?

Besides using Newton 2’s physics engine or another third party plugin that I am unaware of,I would say not likely. The other thing you can try is ask the files in the expressions forum if they can help make an expression to do this in relation to an objects position
