expanding my expressions knowledge
Hello everyone
through the years I’ve learned to use expressions more or less through trial and error…
don’t get me wrong, it’s a great way to learn
but lately I’ve been feeling like it’s not enough…
every now and then i come across something i didn’t know and i couldn’t find inside of AE’s expression list.
let’s say “toComp” or “toWorld”. neither is in the list
i do understand them, but they’re just an example.so my question is, how do i find out about those things…
where can i beef up my expressions understanding.thanks in advance

Look in the After Effects documentation.
Try this search for toWorld. It pulls up the “Layer Space Transforms methods (expression reference)” page, which describes the method and points to four different tutorials about it.
