  Existing projects do not open anymore

  I had touble with capture now in fcp 4.5, then I took the quicktime receipts to the trash and updated quicktime in my G5 Mac Os 3.9 to quicktime 7.5. I solved my capture now problems, and now I finally can do it. But FC do not open my existing projects. It begins to open the project, and in the 18 % the program shuts down inexpectedly saying Kern Protection Failure. New projects are fine, I can begin a new project, the problem now is with the existing ones. Please if you can help me, I had some work to do. Thank you, Romina
