April 1, 2010 at 11:49 amVery cruel April Fool’s joke. I love the line about one drawback – it will no longer be able to shoot stills.

April 1, 2010 at 1:09 pmAnyone in tune with the current DSLRs and their technical limitations should know better. Very stupid April Fools for very stupid people 😉

April 1, 2010 at 1:35 pmI’m not sure I’d say “stupid April Fools”, clever, yes. Aren’t most of the things mentioned what we all want?

April 1, 2010 at 1:41 pmI said “current DSLRs”. If anyone thinks that the current DSLRs are capable of RAW video with just a simple firmware update, that’s truely foolish…

April 1, 2010 at 4:10 pmI saw this last night and was literally texting people like a little girl. I was so excited, then I realized how implausible it was. Very funny.

April 1, 2010 at 6:37 pmFirst I was super pissed that I just shot a spot last week and was thinking I’d have to reshoot. Then I was trying to wrap my head around the awesomeness of the update (160fps!) and how screwed RED was, and then I was crushed. Crushed. But at least I don’t have to reshoot my spot, so that’s something.
I hope Sarah Jessica Parker and Jeff Goldblum are ok…
