exclamation in canvas and viewer
Ive been building a project and notice a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the canvas and viewer. It looks like the shots are a little hot. Is that what that means?

It is telling you your levels are too hot or your chroma is too hot for broadcast specs. Or both. I always keep that warning turned on, and you might want to customize your windows for FCP to keep the built-in scopes close to hand. They are not as good IMO as my reliable old Tektroincs, but hey, they came free with the app, and it pays to pay attention to levels early in the editing, to keep from getting your final product kicked back at you from QC assurance as “out of spec”.
