Exchange plugin for CS6???
So, Am I missing something or did Maxon not release a CS6 compatible exchange plugin? I’ve scoured the internet as well and can’t find ANY reference to an updated plugin, not even another forum post or anyone else asking about it. All I can find is the CS5.5 that ships with r13 and it isn’t working in CS6.
Anyone have any insight?!?

Hi Ryan,
Exchange plugin from C4D R13 to AE CS5.5 (which is free to download from Maxon’s website) works fine for me in CS6. I haven’t tested out the export plugin that reverses the process but I don’t see any reason for that not to work either.
Maxon gives quite big importance to AE integration so I believe they wouldn’t miss out an updated plugin for CS6 if the previous one didn’t work.

Hi – can I jump in here … I’ve just downloaded the C4D demo and have put the correct plugin into AE but when I open AE I get “after effects error opening resource file “C4Dformat.aex” – bit of a problem really – anyone any ideas please ?

I’m on a MAC using C4D R13 Broadcast – After Effects CS6.
I’m having similar issues. When opening .aec file in After Effects CS6 created in C4d, get the Error “Unsupported Format….”Placed plugins from Maxon website for C13 – After Effets CS5.5 in both the folders “Plugins” and “Plugins/Format”, just to be sure.
Any help would be much appreciated, ThanksNick
