Vegas keeps crashing with the following error: (see below)
I’ve tried reinstalling, defragging my hard drive but every time I open this one project and hit play, it just crashes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

other than that project does it load ok?

It looks like the Waves Enigma plug-in isn’t working well with Vegas. Waves has had a lot of problems with something they changed about their plug-ins. Lately I’ve seen a number of people complaining in various fora about compatibility issues with all kinds of host applications not just Vegas. I would contact Waves about it. In the mean time, remove Enigma from your project to get stability back.

I removed the Enigma plugin and that seemed to do the trick.
