I want do a time remap of footage in FCP by setting keyframes. Is there any way to specify exactly where each keyframe gets put, outside of simply pointing the pen and clicking in roughly the correct place? I have a bunch of these to do, and they have to be in a specific spot, down to the frame, and the pen tool takes too much effort to get exact. If I could do something like enter a frame number and then a command to place a keyframe, that would be perfect.

Us the time remapping tool. Put the playhead on the frame you want to add the keyframe; click on the clip in the timeline with the tool snapped to the playhead.

    All the best,

Here’s a little time remap tutorial I did… not super in-depth, but you might get something out of it…

Takes a while to load… let it come up.

    Good luck,
