EX3 set for Time of Day timecode triggering a Samurai Blade – or not as the case may be.
I recently purchased a Samarai Blade and like the unit very much, but I cannot get it to be triggered from my EX3 when it is on Time of Day timecode. It triggers on other timecode settings but not time of day – which to me is the most useful. Can anyone help?
I have the Blade on the correct settings, ie Camera Trigger>None/Timecode, Source>HD-SDI, TC>is selected and yellow. As soon as TC is selected on the Blade it sees the running Time of Day timecode and begins to record – but it still is not controlled by the EX3. HELP!!!!!

Hello,
I used a “Blade” on my EX-3 last year…and it would only record on “record run “, not free run on the time code setting.
