    Thanks,
So in my perfect world I will buy a relay lens – which will (re)invert the image whilst retaining the original characteristics of the lens attached to it.
Nice. Where can I get one?

    Here’s one example:

    Ah.
    Still “twin lens” though.
Resulting in a loss of light and clarity,
    if I am not mistaken

I think the Letus Ultimate reduces the available light by about one 1 F stop. Maybe a bit more. There shouldn’t be any discernible loss in picture quality. One of the earliest adopters of the EX/Letus combo does awesome work and swears by them.

    Hi,

I have a problem with the Ex-3 and my letus extreme. I’ve never had this problem before but it has been 3 years since I bought both. I would really be glad to hear your opinion about this.
Here is the thing, for some reasons when I mount the letus on to the ex-3 fujinon lens, everything looks fine until I pan. It’s really strange, it feels as if the glass of the letus and the one from the ex-3 are not in sync.
Here is a exemple, when I make a sudden pan, the image doesn’t stop straight on the final position, it is unbalanced for a split second and comes into the right position again. A better word would be jiggle, yes, I think the image jiggle. So i thought it was the letus who wasn’t properly mounted so I screwed it tighter but it doesn’t change anything.
Please, tell me you have an idea of what I’m talking about 🙂
    Thanks!
    Antoine

It sounds like you have steady-shot turned on.
