  EX3 External Recorder

  Hello

  We are at the middle of the production of a short Film in the film school i’m attending and the camera we were offered for the Project is an EX3 with a PS technik adapter. A fair set.
  For that Camera we also have two external recorders to chose. One is the NanoFlash (8Bit) and the other is the Samurai (10bit). There have been many discussions on whether the 10Bits will make a difference as the native noise levels of the Camera make it so that above the 8Bit range you dont get anything better.
  So me, and some other colleagues are wondering if that is really the case??
  The plan is to shoot 4:2:2 uncompressed. I dont really know what the bitrate for that would be.

  Any suggestions from people that have already tested both devices or could recommend another, that would be better would be much appreciated.
