August 5, 2008 at 2:24 pmBoth EX1 and EX3 support embedded audio and time code over HD-SDI as far as I know (not that I’ve tried).

Your speculation is accurate. Both support embedded audio and TC over SDIScot Lenter

I’m looking to buy the EX3. Had a ‘play’ with it yesterday. Bolted the new XS13x Fujinon lens to it. Bit front heavy but I’m looking at the XS17x lens which is a little shorter and lighter and maybe the DV Multirig unit.
Will be a great system.
Cheers

August 11, 2008 at 2:54 pmCool. Just had a hands on demo with the ex-3 and the studio setup. Looks like everything is going to work out fine with the embedded audio. Thanks for all your help!
