Ex1 uprez ,,, brain melt sorry

I’m having a brainmelt today and can’t seem to figure something out.
The project I’m working on uses Ex1 – we link to ama and then transcode to 15:1 into a 30i NTSC project to save space.
Now usually sequences go to an online facility to be uprezzed etc …
but now I’ve got uprez a short sequence for a pitch and I’m having probs.
I have to uprez to 2:1 NTSC for output onto a DigiBetaI’ve duped the sequence. I’ve reindexed the AMA volumes of the cards we need. I’ve relinked all the clips that are in the sequence.
Now do I have to transcode the clips again to 2:1? Or are the relinked clips linking to the best resolution anyway?sorry if this is a bit basic … but I can’t figure it out.

I assume you figured out a solution for your hang-up by now, but perhaps you will still get an email alert when I post this–
You describe importing XDCAM EX footage from AMA at 15:1, editing with that imported footage, and then being able to re-link your sequence back to the original AMA footage. Can you tell me how you did that?? I’m running into issues trying to figure out a proper workflow for a feature doc, and the ability to link BACK to original AMA virtual volumes is the missing link, which I can’t figure out for the life of me.
