EX1 to Windows Movie Maker
I have a potential client looking to have me fill in periodically to shoot some behind the scene stuff on my EX1. He plans on cutting this together himself on Windows Movie Maker!?
If I were to offload the footage to a hard drive so he can edit it, how would he be able to work with my footage? I only have Mac computers, no windows machines. I can probably convert it but have no idea as to what to convert it to.
Any advice? Thanks in advance for your help.

My (bad) experience with WMM is that it is the least least flexible of all of the PC editing programs. You will probably need to import into FCP and export as WMV using Flip for Mac. If you want HD files you will need Flip for Mac HD which is more expensive. My advice would be to charge a lot because this will be a time consuming pain-in-the-ass.

Windows Movie Maker? Really? Sounds like a gig where I’d have to say “thanks but no thanks”. If he’s editing on that then I doubt he has the money to pay for the time you’ll spend dealing with converting the footage.
