EX1 ‘ll even do this!
Iv’e just noticed in my EX1 manual the paragraph on page 115 that says the camera is capable of recording an external HDV stream, presented to it’s FW connector, onto the SxS cards.
Can’t think of a use for this at present, but it just sounds like it might be a lifesaver some time. -useful facility eh?

it means you can dub from an HDV camera/source, “Print To Video” or similar from an NLE
