EX1 Footage imported into CS3 missing one audio channel
Hi All,
Let me preface this by saying that while I’ve got 30+ y ears of experience in the TV biz as a director and technical director, I’m definitely a newbie at NLE so be gentle on me, OK? 😉
I am working on a project in Premiere CS3 and have imported my footage from a Sony EX1 into my system. The footage is all 1080i.
When I drag the clips into the sequence, only channel 1 audio shows up. I know I have nats sound on channel 2 for sure.
Is there something in CS3 that isn’t set up properly? Is this a codec issue?

Actually let me correct the above… I tried importing some footage this morning with known audio on channel 2 and it’s not there either.
