EX1 footage import to FCP problem: “no storage space” message
Hey all, an issue with Sony EX1 importing to FCP, wondering about answers…
I get a message saying there is not enough storage space to import transferred EX1 footage into FCP even though I know my computer has the free space. When I change the location of the folder with transferred footage to different parts of the computer, the “no storage” message disappears and there is no problem.
Anyone know why this happens? And if there is an alternative solution to constantly changing the folder’s location.

If it doesn’t resolve your problem you may have to download the latest version of the Sony Transfer Tool app.

Thanks for the link Don. Actually, this problem doesn’t occur for me because of spanned clips (although I am familiar with that problem as well).

Check all your drives- system etc, make sure all at least have 20GB of free space available.
