EX1 Footage Import into Vegas, no Audio
I recently shot a project using the EX1 and had some difficulty getting the footage to work in Vegas. I still have a copy of Vegas 6 on my computer, as well as a copy of Vegas 8. I could not get 8 to even recognize the file, and 6 would only import the video, not the audio. Has anyone else run across this problem? Is there a specific codec I need to install?

you have to use the EX1 clip browser to re-wrap the MP4 file to an mxf file. It’s very fast, and can be done at the same time as import.
