We have a sony ex1 and bought two 32gb sxs cards. Unfortunately they’re not supported yet by the EX1. can anybody send me a link to the upgrade for the camera? Thank you very much. 🙂

You can’t upgrade the camera yourself- it has to be sent into Sony. Check your manual for warranty service near you…

I watched Galaxy Quest again in my garage last night while I was getting things ready for winter! I don’t think I’d have ever caught that reference otherwise…

    Have a great week everybody!

i have a buddy who downloaded the EX-1 firmware for 32G cards on some Korean site. It got yanked off but he still has it i believe. He installed hit himself as is working fine, i believe. I may be able to get it. Is it a problem to send that via email? Or would mods object?

I hope and pray that it won’t be a problem. My email is mario@gbps.tv. It would be a great big help for us cause the cards now are really useless at the moment.

I did the upgrade a few weeks ago and it is not rocket science. BUT if you get it wrong the whole camera can be placed out of action and you will have to use it as camel fodder!

What would I do without the ‘UNDO’ button!!!!

Hey, bought ex1 and are as suggested downloading firmware to unlock camera to my 32 GB memory card. When downloaded, what do I do with the thing?

    Best regards, Cathrine
