  ex1 and power pc – 2 questions

  I am planning on shooting a corporate with the new ex1, we have fcp 6.02. I am editing on a quad g5 however I am planning on also installing fcp6.02 on a 1.67 ghz g4 powerbook and using it to download on location, Is this possible ? Will it work ?

  My other question is, traditionally I have used digital betacam and 2/3 inch dvcam cameras ( dsr 570/450 ) is the ex1 up to the task of working in areas of production where 2/3 inch cameras have traditionally been used, ie high end corporate/tvc work ( I am concerned that the clients may think it’s a toy ) Are many other people here using it in place of larger shoulder mount cameras. I have always been happy with digi b but we have productions that need to be shot in hd and for the price the ex1 is very tempting.
