I just heard that the EX-3 will invert the image on the LCD for use with lens adapters. Will the firmware upgrade for the EX-1 allow the same?

I don’t believe it will as the ex3 has a button on the back of the monitor along with a peaking dial, and brightness and contrast dials. This new view finder is a huge improvement. I could be wrong and I won’t be sending my 3- ex3 and my other ex1 in until October as they are currently working.

    Good Luck

on the EX-1 the LCD monitor flips the scan (upside-down) when you flip the LCD around to face the front of the camera, so it seems possible. I’ve been updated, but haven’t looked for the menu control to do that – and it’s at the office. I’ll check it Monday.

I have firmware 1.11 on my EX1 – I just looke for a menu option but couldn’t find anything.
