EX-1 Extended Warranty?
Does anyone know where I can purchase a quality damage related warranty for my camcorder (after purchase). I’ve very fond of sagemax protection plans, but this camera was (regrettably) purchased without one.
I shoot action sports and just want something reliable in case of accidental damage. Would insurance be the route to go instead?

We bought ours through B&H as part of their EX-1 accessory kit. The warranty arrived in the form of a certificate from Sony, which we then registered online to activate the factory Sony extended warranty.
Check out this link. It seemed reasonably priced to me. We did the same deal with our EX3 when we ordered it.
