Everything exporting from my AVID is too bright
Media Composer 8.8.1 on an iMac running OS 10.12.3 Everything I export from AVID is too bright–white levels through the roof. I have adjusted the export settings to “keep as legal range” and that seems to help a lot but ever since upgrading to my new mac and new version of MC this has been a huge problem. By the time my videos get out to my clients onto youtube or whatever (wetransfer of the mp4 files, etc.) the video images are bleached out white super hot and look awful. In AVID the images look normal like they’re supposed to but after export they do not. The only good result has been with keeping the legal range turned on–something I didn’t do on older AVID MC/iMac.
