This is going to be hard to convey without a video, but I’ll try my best with some attached screenshots and a description:

When I click one event in my video track and try to move it, everything to the right of the selected event moves with it as though I’ve selected several events with the selection edit tool.

The above screenshot shows a series of events starting at the 20:00 mark.

The second screenshot shows what happens when I click on the event sitting on the 20:00 mark and try to move it to a little before the 20:00 mark: everything to the right of it moves along with it.

Is there a shortcut I accidentally pressed that groups everything together like this? I tried ungrouping it with U, but it didn’t work and I don’t think that would be applicable to this particular situation anyway.

You simply have Auto Ripple enabled.
The icon is on the toolbar or press (Ctrl+L) to disable it.
