Event FX/Effects don’t show up
Okay, It has been like this for a long time, but now I have found CreativeCOW.net and I am wondering if anyone will help me. I’ve tried to solve the problem but for some reason the problem I’m having seems unsolvable.
Here we go, I open up Vegas Pro 9 perfectly fine, but when I have a picture/video clip in the timeline I will want to edit it. So I click Event FX or I go to Video FX and choose what I want as an effect. So, say I’m doing it by clicking Event FX for my video, The screen for Event FX pops up (the plug-in chooser or whatever) okay, and then I will click on whatever effect I want, (let’s say black and white is what I want to use) Anyways, I will click on Sony Black and White, & instead of letting me edit/adjust the settings nothing will pop up. This makes me angry, because I really want to adjust my settings. Okay, and then, when I click on Video FX, I will click cookie cutter, and say I want it to be a really big circle in the screen. I will click Cookie cutter, click one of the options, drag it to my video/picture and nothing will pop up to let me adjust it.
It has been like this for a long time and everything I try doesn’t work. Please help.
Also, One time while I was editing, I was able to change/adjust/edit the effects. I wanted to see what it looked like so I put the Video FX so the side. I saw the preview of my video, but then when I tried to drag the Video FX back up, I couldn’t find it and I tried to restart Sony Vegas, and it hasn’t worked since then.

The panels are still there hidden behind other panels…So
instead of going through all the Thigamajigg, Simply reset Vegas
by holding down the ctrl and shift Keys while launching Vegas.Steve Rhoden
