In my project, I have made many edits that are just fine.

But my last event on the timeline has the audio muted somehow. And there are no waveforms in the Audio Track.(I checked the original Quicktime .MOV source file and it still has all the audio intact.)

(I looked for some way to toggle it on and off, and tried Switches\Mute but that didn’t do anything.)

One other clue: this event is comparatively long – 20 minutes – and I know there were a number of edits in there to remove words and stutters. So I wonder if somehow I grouped them all into ONE event and if that is part of the problem?

Is there some way to restore the audio portion of this ONE event section in my project timeline?

    Many thanks!

Here is a short video screencast I made to show very clearly what the question is with the missing audio.

    Many thanks!
