I took audio from a dvd and synced it to an mpeg that was originally vhs. The origial files total size for audio and video is less then 2 gb. I go to burn disc-dvd and the estimated size is 7.62. The video is about an hour and a half and I need it to play on a standard dvd player. What should I do to make that size smaller?

If you have DVD Architect Studio, you need to render it out from Vegas as 2 separate files.
An MPEG-2 file for the video and an AC-3 file for the audio.
Make sure both files have the same name.
That way, when you open DVD Architect, load the video and the audio will automatically follow.
