  Essential Graphics – applying template change to exisiting titles

  I didn’t see this covered yet and this may be a rookie question:

  I have a lower third template from AE I use in my Premiere 2017 project. However, I had to fix a few things in the AE template to keep my text from jumping and to change the font. I re-saved my EG as templates and they are available in my Premiere Project, but why don’t the existing graphics automatically update? So far as I can tell, I have to recreate everything.

  I’m on a brand new Mac, by the way. Has anyone else figured this out? Again – I’m a rookie here.
