This is probably elementary for you guys but I need to know! If you watch ESPN, which I do on occasion with my husband while he watches NASCAR. I mostly watch the images for creative visual ideas, the interviews that ESPN does has the look that I’m attempting to use on an upcoming project.

If you know what I mean, it’s the rich colors and blacks, the transitions are what I’m mostly interested in. What are they using?

    Thanks one and all!

to this day a little panty hose over the lens and some in-camera glows for transitions is a great combo. Today, most of the shooters for ESPN Classic and shows of the like don’t do the in camera glows because they know I have more handles over those in post now. Just wasn’t the case many years ago when both the pantyhose trick and the iris technique were used so much.

May I ask what you’re using? Boris, After Effects, something else?
    Thanks
