Has anyone tried to use the eSATA to USB adapter, and does it work?

My interest is in transfering files not cutting with the thing.

    Thanks

Yep…I have one. Bought it from OWC. I hook up my bare internal SATA drive and then connecte it via USB to my computer and back up my music and P2 files.

Oh…eSATA? Haven’t seen that. But should work…as data transfer only.

I have a sence you are talking about putting a SATA drive into an enclousure, I am asking about a stand alone adapter that you plug a cable into one end and the other end plugs into the computer.

    Thanks

I am talking about a stand alone adapter that you plug one end into a bare SATA drive, and the other into the USB port. AND you plug in power to pwoer the drive.

Wow thats freaky, the word bare was an odd word but there it is, it’s bare. I have never seen anything like that before.

I found a one piece adapter with no wires thing. If your thing works I guess the adapter thing I found might too.

    Thanks
