Errors When Capturing HD
Hello!
I’m importing HD footage in FCP 6.0.6. This system has always worked before with no problems, but has recently been moved and now we are experiencing capture difficulties. When we log and capture everything goes fine until the end. At the end of the clip we get a “general error” and a “problem with the stream”.
Then, we tried to change the settings and see if that had any effect on the errors. We deselected the audio and the entire clip was successfully captured. Now we are trying to capture just the audio by itself, and that was also successful. Has anyone had this problem before?

Bit hard to guess without information on what codec you are capturing, how you are capturing (firewire or capture card), version of FCP, computer specs etc, drive type you are capturing to (ie firewire, esata etc).
Also have you tried trashing preferences? If not and you are not sure how, then search this forum.
