Still have yet to be able to open up a C4D Lite 21 model back into After Effects without seeing one of the following errors popping up: “AEGPPlugin Cineware SceneLayer: Cineware AliveThread_Execute failed (5027::12)” – or – “Layer size must match composition and use default transform values“. The second I straightened out by assuring both comps matched settings, but every time I drag the saved C4D file down from the Project Panel into the timeline, there is nothing in the viewport. Must be something obvious I’m overlooking but I can’t seem to get to first base with Cinema 4D Lite, even though I’ve used C4D since 2009!.
Yes, Graham, thanks for your response. I am using the Cinema 4D camera, which I did add to the scene over in C4D. I have also run through the definitely annoying login process in order to start up C4D Lite 22 and am not constrained in any way to modeling to my heart’s content over in Cinema. It just appears AE and C4D are not speaking to each other since I cannot begin to see the fruits of my labors in After Effects.
