First, I love Proanimator … when it works
Maybe it’s the way I’m trying to tweak things or maybe not, but here’s what I constantly have happening.

I’ll make a complete scene and when I go BACK to it and attempt to adjust things, I get the “Unable to complete operation and error and have to restart AE etc.

The only workarounds I have found are to start a NEW project and rebuild the animation and then SOMETIMES it will work

I notice the errors are most common when I’ll build a TWO line text animation and change the size of the first 2 letters.

A current comp has 3d text, a 3ds max model, now, overnight, I cannot adjust anything and when I attempt to save the scene to work with Proanimator standalone, I get the same error.

I keep losing tons of time and it’s very frustrating

anyone else get this or know of a solution

    Here’s a screen cap (xvid)

I’m running vista 64 ultimate and AE CS3 – all upated as of Jan 2007
I get the same errors on XP and Vista 32

Please send me the project file. zax@zaxwerks.com

Once I see what you’re working with we’ll have a better chance of figuring out what’s going on.

In the mean time you could try making a new project, on the main monitor only, that is DV resolution, then then create something simple. Look for parallels between this project and the ones that crash.

Also, make sure you are using the 4.3.3 version of ProAnimator.

    Best,
    Zax
