Error when rendering project with nested .veg files
Hello, Why would I be getting errors during rendering of Vegas files (Vegas 7) that contain nested .veg files. I just recently started using nested files in my builds and until this time I had never had a file error out during rendering (files w/no nested .veg). I am away from my editing computer so I can’t tell you what the error message is, but it’s a long message. The nested files are all complete with nothing offline/missing etc. When I render the files that the nested .vegs come from on their own they seem to render fine. Should I render them all seperatly to avi then render them all together? The renders are for mpeg2 files for DVDA. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

You can try what Rick mentioned earlier:
Drop the number of rendering threads down to 1 and lower the RAM preview size.

When I got back to my editing computer & checked my settings they were as Rick suggested, 0 Ram, 1 Thread. I have a Vegas build with 14 different nested .veg files. The first render stopped at 39%, my second attempt stopped at 19%. Both seemed to stop on a part of the file that is common to each (the .veg files share some common files). Any other thoughts on why this could be happening with the nested .veg files? Can you have nested .veg files within nested .veg files?
